GlaxoSmithKline (GSK)
A global leader in healthcare, GSK is committed to the innovative development of medical solutions that enhance patient lives. Among their prominent products is the Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), essential for effective asthma management.
In close collaboration with the GSK team, Malsen Create contributed to the project from concept, prototyping, competitor evaluation, verification testing and industrialization. The design incorporates many patented innovations and has become the “Gold standard” by which other MDI’s are judged. The FDA has now made a counter an essential requirement on all MDI’s.
The innovative dose counter improves patient compliance by ensuring that they will never run out of medication, providing accurate, easy-to-read dosage information.
Sodaflo
Sodaflo is a start-up company with the vision to combine the benefits of a conventional “SodaStream “soda maker with the simplicity of a “nespesso” style capsule flavour delivery.
Our team were responsible for all the development from initial design concepts through to production. Including mechanical design, electronics and software development, industrial design, packaging and the development of a novel, low plastic pod.
We took the product through extensive safety verification test programme and built the design history file including EMC testing to support the submission to self-declare to relevant standards for UKCA.


Roche Diabetes Care
Roche Diabetes Care, dedicated to pioneering sophisticated diabetes management solutions that significantly improve the lives of those we serve. At Malsen Create, we have been an instrumental partner in the development of Roche Diabetes Care's infusion set and insertion device. Atlas
Pondera, maker of advanced weighing systems, required a solution for weighing patients in beds, wheelchair and similar.
Malsen Create conceptualized the product, developed the mechanics, electronics, firmware and internet of things solution. The device operates autonomously and allows health care providers to monitor the patient remotely.
